Email photographs of all your makeup inspiration images, and any notes.

This may include allergies and sensitivities, or general concerns such as small eyes and wanting them to look bigger, hooded eyelids and wanting them to look lifted, or really oily skin.

Exfoliate and hydrate your skin regularly. The better the condition of your skin the better your foundation makeup will look.

AT THE TRIAL

Clear communication is always important in ensuring you get what you want. I want you to be happy and for you to get the finished result that you envision.

Communicate what you like and what you don't like no matter how tiny or drastic the adjustment request is. And don't worry about hurting my feelings! This is your wedding day and it is extremely important that you get what you want so speak your mind. Don't leave the trial appointment unhappy, It is better to communicate well at the trial appointment and leave feeling confident!

AFTER THE TRIAL

After your trial is completed keep an eye on how the makeup wears throughout the day and make notes. It your skın gets greasy make a note.

Take lots of selfies so vou can see how well the look photographs. Make sure to take your selfies in good, even lighting. I recommend standing facing a window.

You will be amazed by how much makeup disappears in photographs.

Show friends and family and ask for opinions

Report if something about the makeup look did not wear well. There is always something I can do to improve the wearability of your makeup whether it be suggesting to switch to a different Foundation for a longer lasting and more matte skin finish, or using a different primer etc.

EXTRA TIPS

• ensure your skin is clean and free from any makeup, including left over mascara, eyebrow pencil, etc.

• you plan on having a spray tan / natural tan for your wedding, it is highly recommended you have one for your trial.

• exfoliate and hydrate lips regularly. I recommend brushing your lips with a toothbrush for the best exfoliation.

• skip lash lifts if you are planning on having false lashes applied.

• wear a white top, preferably that shows your neck and chest.

• Cleanse your skin the morning of your appointment to remove oils, sweat, or leftover skincare.

• Moisturize well — hydrated skin = smoother makeup. Even oily skin needs moisture.

• Avoid new products 48 hours before your appointment to prevent irritation or unexpected reactions.

• Exfoliate gently the night before (not the morning of) to remove dry patches and help your makeup sit evenly.

• Arrive with a bare face — no makeup, no mascara, no SPF. I’ll take care of all prep.

• If you’re a bride, stay consistent with your usual skincare routine leading up to the wedding. No last‑minute changes.

• Dermaplaning is great to remove peach fuzz and dead skin as well as brightens your skin and improves texture for your application,

A full makeup application typically takes me 45 minutes to 1 hour per person. This allows enough time for proper skin prep, seamless blending, customized eye makeup, and lashes — without ever feeling rushed.

Yes — during the busy summer months, I require a minimum of 4 makeup services to secure a wedding booking (this can include the bride plus bridesmaids, mothers, or other members of the wedding party)..

This helps me reserve the full morning for you and ensures I can dedicate the time and resources needed for a smooth, well‑paced bridal experience.

Smaller parties can still inquire, and I’ll let you know if your date can be accommodated.

Yes — I offer full travel and on‑location makeup services. Whether you’re getting ready at home, a hotel, your venue, or another location, I bring my complete professional kit, and setup directly to you.

Travel services help keep your morning calm, seamless, and stress‑free so you don’t have to worry about moving between locations. For weddings outside Campbell River, additional travel fees may apply.

Your makeup is designed to last all day and night — typically 12+ hours with proper skin prep and normal wear. I use long‑wear products, strategic layering, and techniques that keep your makeup looking fresh throughout the day.

Bridal makeup is intentionally built to stay flawless from the moment you start getting ready until the end of your reception. I also provide touch‑up guidance so you feel confident throughout your entire day.

I recommend that all bridesmaids and yourself have a lipstick or gloss to take with you on the day of. With all the eating drinking and kissing you will doing the lips simply won’t last.
